CAMBRIDGE — Vermont State Police arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of driving under the influence Thursday evening.
Michael Patch of Hyde Park was taken into custody at approximately 8:15 p.m. on South Main Street.
Police responded to the area for a report of an alarm.
Upon arrival, Patch drove into the parking lot and spoke with troopers.
During the conversation, officers detected indicators of impairment.
Patch was arrested and transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear at Lamoille Superior Court on Sept. 10 at 12:30 p.m.
Patch is charged with DUI first offense.
