NORWALK — Police arrested a 49-year-old Norwalk man following a rollover motor vehicle accident and subsequent investigation on East Avenue in the afternoon of August 18.
Officers were dispatched to 83 East Ave. at approximately 3:49 p.m. for a report of an overturned vehicle.
Responding officers located a gold Acura MDX on its driver’s side and identified the operator as Christopher Jon Telesco, 49, of 26 Fitch St. Suite 1B, Norwalk.
Police say Telesco was attempting to climb back into the vehicle when officers arrived.
During their investigation, police determined Telesco was operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Telesco was placed under arrest.
A search of Telesco and his vehicle led to the recovery of narcotics, controlled substances, cash and drug paraphernalia, according to police.
He has been charged with possession with intent to sell narcotics, use of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive in the proper lane, illegal operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence, and possession of a controlled substance–second offense.
Telesco was held on $100,000 bond.
His court date is scheduled for Sept. 3.
