LAWRENCE — On Thursday, Aug. 21, the Street Narcotics Enforcement Unit provided assistance to the FBI and Connecticut State Police in the execution of three federal search warrants and three federal arrest warrants.
These warrants stemmed from an extensive investigation into an armed robbery that took place in New Haven, Connecticut, involving the theft of an Apple delivery truck containing approximately $800,000 worth of merchandise.
As a result of this operation, the following individuals were apprehended at separate locations in Lawrence and taken into custody by the FBI and Connecticut State Police: Daury Rodriguez Contreras, Jose Mercado and Jean Paulino Gonzalez.
