Dolgeville man arrested on drug charges after police search

DOLGEVILLE — New York State Police arrested a 42-year-old man on drug charges following a search warrant execution Aug. 20.

Antwoin D. Goodwin of Dolgeville was charged after the State Police Troop D Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team searched a residence on Rundell Street.

The search was conducted with assistance from the Special Investigations Unit, Counter Terrorism Intelligence Unit, Canine Unit, and uniformed members.

Police seized more than one-eighth ounce of crack cocaine, a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, a cutting agent, and various drug packaging materials and scales.

Goodwin was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.

He was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony.

Police charged Goodwin with three counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, class A misdemeanors.

Goodwin was arraigned in Herkimer County Court, where bail was set at $50,000 cash or $200,000 bond.

He was remanded to the Herkimer County Jail.
