QUEENSBURY — State Police responded to a fatal motorcycle crash on State Route 9L at about 11:06 a.m. Aug. 17.
The investigation determined a sedan traveling southbound on State Route 9L was turning left into a business when a southbound motorcycle operated by Austin L. Pagan, 18, of Queensbury, attempted to pass the vehicle on the left and struck it as it turned.
Pagan was ejected from the motorcycle, sustained severe injuries, and was declared deceased at the scene.
Two pedestrians in the parking lot of the business were struck by Pagan and the motorcycle.
Both pedestrians sustained what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The driver of the sedan has been cooperative throughout the ongoing investigation.
No charges have been filed at this time.
