MEDWAY — A 51-year-old man will be arraigned today in Wrentham District Court on charges of operating under the influence and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident following an early Saturday morning crash.
Christopher Sprague of Village Street was arrested by Patrol Officers Ryan Kahn and Emily Clark after a crash that damaged multiple mailboxes and a utility pole was reported at about 1:30 a.m. near 250 Village Street on Aug. 16.
The driver had left the scene before officers arrived.
Officers conducted a search and found the van involved in the crash.
Police located Sprague and identified him as the driver.
He was arrested following an investigation.
No injuries were reported.
