CUBA — A Belfast man was arrested Saturday night following a narcotics investigation by the Cuba Police Department.
Cory A. Pearse, 36, was taken into custody at approximately 10:30 p.m. Aug. 17 after a grand jury issued an indictment warrant.
Pearse faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony, and criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, also a felony.
The charges stem from the alleged sale of crack cocaine in the town and village of Cuba.
Pearse was processed and sent to the Allegany County Jail with no bail set.
The Cuba Police Department was assisted by the Olean Police Department in the investigation.
