OSWEGO — The vehicle and victim have been recovered from the Oswego River, police said Sunday.
The Oswego City Police Department announced the recovery at 7:45 a.m. Aug. 17.
Additional information will be released at a later time, police said.
The incident occurred in the area of West First Street and West Schuyler Street.
The Oswego Police Department, Oswego Fire Department, Oswego County Sheriff’s Office Marine Patrol and the Oswego County Dive Team responded to the scene.
Menter Ambulance also assisted in the coordinated response efforts.
Police had asked residents to avoid the area to allow first responders to work safely and efficiently.
