WESTBOROUGH — Chief Todd Minardi announced today the arrest of Rigoberto M. Vasquez Mendoza, 33, of Westborough, following an investigation into a sexual assault involving a juvenile victim.
On Aug. 10, the Westborough Police Department was alerted to a reported sexual assault that had occurred in town.
Detectives quickly began working with the Lynn Police Department, who had received information about the incident, which was alleged to have taken place in Westborough on Aug. 8.
