NEWBURY — A 43-year-old Massachusetts man reported missing after disappearing in Newbury has been found safe.
Erik Orndorff of Holyoke, Massachusetts, was located by police in Massachusetts, according to Vermont State Police.
The Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks received a report Aug. 14 that Orndorff was missing.
He was last seen Aug. 11 in Newbury and had not been heard from since Aug. 12.
Police said Orndorff has mental health concerns and may have been at risk.
Orndorff is described as a white male with hazel eyes and black hair, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing around 180 pounds.
He may have been operating a black Mazda3 with Massachusetts registration 5MNP40, featuring a rear license plate frame that says “I’d rather be glowsticking.”
The incident did not appear to be suspicious, police said.
