PALERMO — State Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence on State Route 49 on Aug. 13 at approximately 1:30 p.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed that an altercation occurred outside the residence, during which a 17-year-old male discharged a firearm.
A 17-year-old male victim was later located and transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
The investigation remains ongoing.
