SKOWHEGAN — The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug search warrant Tuesday morning at a Pine Street residence, resulting in the arrest of a woman already out on bail for previous drug charges.
Detective Lieutenant Gottardi II led the Criminal Division in executing the warrant at approximately 7:25 a.m. at the residence of Hallie Stevens.
The search warrant was obtained after a month-long investigation into reports that Stevens was selling illegal drugs to area individuals.
Five Sheriff’s Office Criminal Division detectives, three Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies and three Waterville Police Department detectives participated in executing the warrant.
During the search of the residence and individuals present, approximately 14 grams of fentanyl and crack cocaine were seized, along with drug-related paraphernalia, digital scales and drug-related documentation.
Hallie Stevens, 39, of Skowhegan, was arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs, a Class A felony, and violation of conditions of release, a Class E misdemeanor.
Stevens’ drug charges are elevated due to a prior felony drug conviction and the amounts of drugs seized.
Stevens was out on bail at the time of her arrest for aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs from a June arrest.
She is being held at the Somerset County Correctional Facility with no bail allowed.
Stevens’ initial court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 5 at 8:30 a.m. in Somerset County Unified Criminal Court.
On June 12, the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office executed a previous drug search warrant at Stevens’ Pine Street residence following a month-long investigation.
During that search, approximately 28 grams of fentanyl and crack cocaine were seized, along with about $1,000 in suspected drug proceeds, drug-related paraphernalia, documentation and digital scales.
Stevens was charged with two counts of aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and posted $1,500 cash bail on June 13.
She is scheduled to appear in Somerset County Unified Criminal Court on Oct. 8 at 8:30 a.m. on those charges.
Cynthia Graf, 37, of Skowhegan, was arrested on an outstanding warrant during Tuesday’s search.
Michael Thomas, 32, of Skowhegan, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, a Class D felony.
Thomas is scheduled to appear in Somerset County Unified Criminal Court on Oct. 8 at 8:30 a.m.
Additional charges may be filed pending review by the Somerset County District Attorney’s Office.
