SCITUATE — Troopers arrested Eric Nelson, 53, of Woonsocket, at 11:59 a.m. on an affidavit and arrest warrant for passing counterfeit certificates, bills or notes, originating from the Woonsocket Police Department.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Manton Avenue in Providence.
Nelson was transported to State Police headquarters where he was processed and turned over to Woonsocket Police Department.
At 12:29 a.m., troopers arrested Ericson Rodriguez, 24, of Providence, on an affidavit and arrest warrant for domestic simple assault, originating from the Cranston Police Department.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Progress Street in Providence.
Rodriguez was transported to State Police headquarters where he was processed and turned over to Cranston Police Department.
