REMSEN — A 70-year-old Remsen woman was injured Wednesday morning when her vehicle sideswiped an oversize load carrying a mobile home on State Route 365.
Lynda Briggs was driving a 2020 Ford Escape westbound on State Route 365 at around 9:47 a.m. when she failed to maintain her lane, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol.
Briggs’ vehicle sideswiped the oversize load, which was traveling eastbound.
The operator of the oversize load, 49-year-old Jeffery Miller of Fort Plain, reported no injuries.
Briggs was transported by NorthStar Ambulance to Rome Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by NorthStar Ambulance, Barneveld Fire Department and New York State Police.
