BRADFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a 61-year-old Newbury man on an outstanding warrant during a traffic stop Aug. 13.
Theodore Garrison was taken into custody at approximately 6:26 p.m. after police stopped a vehicle for multiple motor vehicle violations.
Garrison was a passenger in the vehicle and was found to have an active in-state warrant.
The warrant was for second-degree aggravated domestic assault, a felony, and two misdemeanor counts of criminal threatening.
After confirming his identity and the warrant, police arrested Garrison and transported him to the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
Garrison was cited to appear in Orange County Superior Court on Aug. 14 at 12:30 p.m.
He was then transported to Northeast Correctional Complex, where he is being held without bail.
