HALFMOON — A 39-year-old Northumberland man was arrested Wednesday on a felony burglary charge following a trespassing complaint filed last week.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office received the trespassing complaint Friday at 10:42 a.m. on Crew Road in Halfmoon.
Adam A. Santiago was charged with burglary in the third degree, a class D felony.
Santiago is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully in a building on the property with intent to commit a crime therein.
He was arraigned before the Honorable Katherine Suchocki in Halfmoon Town Court and released on his own recognizance pending further proceedings.
The charge is not considered a qualifying offense for the purpose of setting bail under New York state law that went into effect in January 2020.
