BUFFALO — Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia reports the arrest of Douglas Walker, 28 of Buffalo, after an investigation by the Erie County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Intelligence Unit, with the assistance of the Erie County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Buffalo Police Department.
On Aug. 13, law enforcement personnel executed a search warrant signed by Hon. Peter Savage of Buffalo City Court for 55 Elmer Avenue.
The following items were seized from the address: a quantity of fentanyl, a quantity of methamphetamine, a digital scale and U.S. currency.
Walker was taken into custody at the address and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia (three counts).
Walker was arraigned on the charges by Hon. Erin Hart of Buffalo City Court and released.
