WEYBRIDGE — Vermont State Police are investigating after a vehicle crashed into a headstone at Quaker Village Road Cemetery and the driver fled the scene.
Troopers from the New Haven Barracks were notified of the crash at approximately 9:15 a.m. Aug. 11.
The headstone was damaged as a result of the crash.
Investigation determined that the crash occurred during the morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 10.
The headstone belongs to Donald Keeler, 83, and Kathleen Keeler, 82, both of Middlebury, and Karen White, 60, and Stephen White, 59, both of Weybridge.
