Suspect identified in assault on sheriff’s dispatchers in Hillsborough County

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY — An individual followed a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher into the sheriff’s office complex Saturday afternoon, forced entry through a secure door and physically assaulted two dispatchers before fleeing, authorities said.

The assault occurred at approximately 3:45 p.m. Aug. 9.

The suspect fled the area immediately after the assault.

The Goffstown Police Department responded to assist and deployed a drone, successfully locating the suspect as they entered a vehicle.

A Goffstown police officer attempted a motor vehicle stop, but the driver refused to comply, and a brief pursuit ensued.

The pursuit was terminated after a few minutes for safety reasons.

Members of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the Goffstown Police Department searched the area for the individual but were unable to locate him.

The suspect has been positively identified, and arrest warrants are being sought.

No further information about the suspect is being released at this time to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
