BRUNSWICK — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving two other vehicles on Grange Road in the Town of Brunswick shortly after noon yesterday, according to the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 12:12 p.m.
An investigation determined the motorcycle had been operating erratically before the crash, including passing multiple vehicles in a no-passing zone by crossing double yellow lines.
The operator, identified as Chad Niles, 40, of Buskirk, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate the incident with assistance from the Troy Police Department.
