Woman arrested on 4 larceny warrants linked to Target thefts

ENFIELD — A local woman was arrested Thursday on multiple larceny charges tied to thefts at a Target store earlier this year.

Shaylene M. Paradis, 33, of Enfield, was taken into custody at 10:35 a.m. on four active arrest warrants.

The warrants stem from four separate incidents in February involving stolen merchandise from the Target at 125 Buckland Hills Drive.

Paradis was processed and presented Friday at Manchester Superior Court.

She was already in state custody on unrelated charges from other jurisdictions.

SOUTH WINDSOR — A South Windsor man was arrested Thursday for allegedly exchanging inappropriate messages with a minor.

Joseph D. Krukowski, 60, was taken into custody at 6:10 p.m. on an active arrest warrant.

The warrant followed a June investigation after reports that Krukowski had been sending inappropriate texts to someone claiming to be 14 years old.

Police confirmed the allegations during the investigation.

Krukowski was processed and released on a $10,000 surety bond.

He is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Aug. 27 at 9 a.m.
