ALTONA — A 58-year-old West Chazy woman was arrested for falsely reporting a crime and making a false written statement.
Tina Robare was taken into custody by New York State Police on Aug. 6.
The charges stem from an Aug. 1 incident in which troopers responded to a reported domestic disturbance involving a weapon on Military Turnpike at approximately 7:14 p.m.
Investigators determined Robare had fabricated the incident.
She was processed at SP Champlain and released on appearance tickets.
Robare is scheduled to appear in Altona Town Court in September.
