WESTBROOK — A suspect in a robbery was arrested in New Hampshire on Tuesday after a swift investigation by Westbrook police.
Jean Gendron, 61, of Smyrna, South Carolina, was taken into custody shortly before 5 p.m. as he exited a bus in Londonderry.
Gendron is being held in New Hampshire as a fugitive from justice and will be extradited to Maine to face robbery charges.
Westbrook police credited officers for identifying and tracking the suspect within six hours of the robbery.
Multiple agencies assisted, including the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Scarborough Police Department and Portland Police Department.
Londonderry police took Gendron into custody.
