Two arrested in Putney on warrants, curfew violation

PUTNEY — Deputies with the Windham County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence on Shag Bark Hill on Aug. 7 at approximately 8 p.m.

Robert Brown, 38, of Brattleboro, was taken into custody on two active arrest warrants.

James Crocker, 42, of Brattleboro, was arrested for violating a court-ordered curfew.

Crocker was held on a $500 cash or surety bond.

Both men were transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility.

They are scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 8.

Brown’s bail was set at $100.
