SWANTON — Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks located Charles Blanchard IV, 36, of Swanton at approximately 6:52 p.m. on Aug. 7 in Homestead Acres Park.
Blanchard was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant.
He was transported to Northwest State Correctional Facility in St. Albans and held on $200 bail.
Blanchard was issued a citation to appear in court on Aug. 8 at 1 p.m. for charges related to the warrant.
The warrant included charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license for DUI, first offense, under 23 VSA 674(b), a misdemeanor.
