FAIRLEE — A catalytic converter was stolen from a pickup truck at the Lake Morey Boat Launch on Aug. 8.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to the scene at approximately 12:35 p.m. after being notified of the theft.
The theft occurred between 6 a.m. and 12:35 p.m.
The victim’s vehicle, a red Ram 2500, was damaged in the incident.
The victim was identified as Kenneth Lafleur, 68, of Lyndonville.
Authorities are investigating the incident as grand larceny and unlawful mischief, both felonies.
