BRUNSWICK — A New York man was arrested Aug. 4 on a warrant for grand larceny.
State Police in Brunswick, with assistance from the Troy Police Department, took Mark D. Coonradt, 41, of Albany, into custody.
The arrest stemmed from a June 19 complaint filed by a Rensselaer County resident at about 12:14 p.m.
Investigators said the victim hired Coonradt to complete roof work on a home in Brunswick.
Coonradt was paid more than $3,000 and agreed to start the work in June.
He allegedly failed to begin the project or return the money.
A warrant was issued by the Brunswick Town Court on July 14.
Troy police located and arrested Coonradt before turning him over to State Police for processing.
He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
Coonradt is due in Brunswick Town Court on Aug. 20.
