NAPLES — A two-vehicle crash on Roosevelt Trail left one pedestrian dead Thursday afternoon.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and Naples Fire Department responded to 227 Roosevelt Trail at approximately 4:11 p.m. after reports of a collision.
First responders found a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee that had left the roadway after swerving to avoid another vehicle.
The Jeep struck a 2013 Ford Van parked in a driveway.
Zackerie Brown, 29, of West Baldwin, was operating the Jeep at the time of the crash.
Scott Martin, 56, of Naples, was struck in the driveway and suffered fatal injuries.
The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division and Windham Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit are investigating.
No further details were released.
