Hadley man arrested on multiple charges after trespassing complaint

HADLEY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a trespassing complaint on July 28 on North Shore Road in Hadley.

An investigation led to the arrest of William S. Cason, 41, of Hadley.

Cason faces three counts of criminal contempt in the 1st degree, three counts of criminal contempt in the 2nd degree, four counts of menacing in the 2nd degree and four counts of attempted assault in the 3rd degree.

Authorities say Cason threw rocks at a group of people, violating an order of protection for three of the victims.

He is accused of intentionally placing four people in fear of physical injury by displaying the rocks.

Cason was arraigned before Hadley Town Court Justice Patrick Harrington and remanded to the Saratoga County Jail.
