HARRISON — Two White Plains residents were arrested following a narcotics investigation by the Harrison Police Department.
Ida Lucas, 48, was arrested July 15 after a five-week investigation prompted by observed drug activity in the West Harrison area.
Officers conducted a traffic stop of Lucas’ vehicle in downtown Harrison.
A search uncovered more than a kilogram of suspected cocaine, along with ecstasy and Xanax, police said.
Lucas was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first, second and third degrees, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
Erik Drago, 56, Lucas’ boyfriend, was arrested July 16 during a separate incident.
Drago was stopped after police observed him driving a vehicle with a suspended registration.
Officers found what appeared to be crack cocaine inside the vehicle.
Drago was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.
Both individuals were processed by the Harrison Police Department.
Their cases are pending in Harrison Town Court.
