Harrison police arrest 2 White Plains residents in narcotics investigation

HARRISON — Two White Plains residents were arrested following a narcotics investigation by the Harrison Police Department.

Ida Lucas, 48, was arrested July 15 after a five-week investigation prompted by observed drug activity in the West Harrison area.

Officers conducted a traffic stop of Lucas’ vehicle in downtown Harrison.

A search uncovered more than a kilogram of suspected cocaine, along with ecstasy and Xanax, police said.

Lucas was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first, second and third degrees, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.

Erik Drago, 56, Lucas’ boyfriend, was arrested July 16 during a separate incident.

Drago was stopped after police observed him driving a vehicle with a suspended registration.

Officers found what appeared to be crack cocaine inside the vehicle.

Drago was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree.

Both individuals were processed by the Harrison Police Department.

Their cases are pending in Harrison Town Court.
