2 sought in Lansing hotel break-in

LANSING — New York State Police at Ithaca are looking to identify two people who forced entry into an unoccupied hotel in July.

On July 5 at approximately 3:08 a.m., the two subjects entered the building previously known as Trip Hotel Ithaca located on Sheraton Drive in the village of Lansing.

Once inside, they damaged items within the building.

One person is believed to be a black male who has most of his face covered.

He is not wearing a shirt, has short dark colored shorts, black socks and light-colored slide sandals.

The second person is believed to be a white or Hispanic female who has most of her face covered.

She is wearing a black tank top, black shorts and flip flops.

She has a large tattoo on her back that appears to be angel wings.

The male can be heard calling out to the woman by the name “Sarah.”
