NEW SHOREHAM — Three people were arrested Aug. 3 on cocaine-related charges following an undercover police operation, according to the Rhode Island State Police.
Wyatt Laprade, 28, of 10 Silk Lane, Scituate, Rhode Island, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance/cocaine to an undercover police officer, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance/cocaine, and controlled substance conspiracy.
Evan Borge, 30, of 154 Borland Avenue, Somerset, Massachusetts, faces the same three charges as Laprade.
Morgan Deplitch, 27, of 12 Utah Street, Somerset, Massachusetts, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled substance/cocaine to an undercover police officer and controlled substance conspiracy.
All three suspects were arrested by members of the HIDTA Unit.
The suspects were transported to the New Shoreham Police Department and the Wickford Barracks, where they were arraigned before a Justice of the Peace.
All three were later turned over to officials at the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Center.
