CORTLANDVILLE — A 32-year-old Ithaca woman was arrested July 31 on a petit larceny charge after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Walmart store.
Gina M. Rodriguez of Hancock Street was taken into custody at 4:53 p.m. following an incident at the Walmart located at 819 Bennie Road in the town of Cortlandville.
Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the store at approximately 3:58 p.m. for a reported larceny complaint.
An investigation determined that Rodriguez stole merchandise from the store, according to the sheriff’s office.
Rodriguez was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where she was processed and released on an appearance ticket.
She is scheduled to appear for arraignment in Town of Cortlandville Court on August 18 at 1 p.m.
