GENEVA — Members of the City of Geneva Police Department’s Uniformed Division responded to the Department of Social Services on Seneca Street for a reported order of protection violation Thursday at approximately 12:20 p.m.
Officers located Michael A. Dove inside the office building with a female.
Officers quickly confirmed that the female is the protected party of a “Stay Away” order of protection against Michael A. Dove.
The order of protection was issued out of the Town of Geneva Criminal Court stemming from an incident that occurred on June 13, where Michael A. Dove was charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, and Assault in the Second Degree against the protected female.
Michael A. Dove was arrested and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
Michael Adam Dove, 35, of Ovid, was charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor.
