BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Roxbury.
The incident took place at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, in the area of Ruggles Street and Leon Street.
During the encounter, the suspect reportedly lifted his shirt and gestured as if armed before stealing the victim’s electric scooter and fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a slim build.
He was wearing a dark-colored t-shirt, black track pants, and a black hat at the time of the incident.
Detectives assigned to District B-2 are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
