SALAMANCA — Salamanca police made 37 arrests during July on charges ranging from driving while intoxicated to burglary, according to a monthly activity report released Thursday.
The arrests included multiple DWI cases, with two drivers charged with aggravated DWI for having blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent or greater.
On July 6, Samantha Beaver, 26, of Lawtons, was arrested following a traffic stop and charged with failure to keep right, moved from lane unsafely, DWI first offense, operating a motor vehicle with BAC greater than 0.08 and aggravated DWI.
On July 9, Amber Persons, 41, of Salamanca, was charged with speed in zone, uninspected motor vehicle, DWI first offense, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC greater than 0.08 and aggravated DWI with a BAC greater than 0.18 percent.
Several arrests involved driving with suspended licenses, known as aggravated unlicensed operation or AUO.
Police also made arrests on various felony charges during the month.
On July 20, Andrew Skye, 36, of Salamanca, was arrested for burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the second degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and petit larceny following an incident in the city.
On July 24, Quinton Jackson, 20, of Gowanda, was arrested on a warrant charging him with assault in the second degree, menacing in the second degree, criminal trespass in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Other arrests included charges for harassment, criminal contempt, assault, criminal mischief and various traffic violations.
Police also arrested two juveniles during the month, including a 13-year-old charged with assault in the third degree and an 18-year-old charged with harassment in the second degree.
Several arrests involved local ordinance violations, including charges for dogs at large and unlicensed dogs.
Multiple people were arrested on bench warrants and arrest warrants issued by Salamanca City Court.
