Lebanon police seek suspect in Colburn Park stabbing

LEBANON — The Lebanon Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing incident that occurred Thursday morning in Colburn Park.

At approximately 8:52 a.m. on July 31, officers responded to a report of an assault at Colburn Park.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim who had sustained a stab wound.

The Lebanon Fire Department provided immediate medical assistance and transported the victim to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center for treatment.

A preliminary investigation, supported by surveillance footage, indicates that the suspect fled the area immediately following the assault.

Police have received additional information confirming that the person of interest was seen walking along Interstate 89 southbound near Exit 18.

The Lebanon Police Department urges anyone who recognizes the individual in surveillance images or who may have observed any suspicious activity in or around Colburn Park Thursday morning to contact law enforcement.

If anyone observed this individual or picked them up as a passenger, they should contact the Lebanon Police Department at 603-448-1212.

Police warn not to approach the suspect if seen.
