Driver dies in Johnson crash on Route 15

JOHNSON — The Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department responded to a fatal two-vehicle crash on Route 15 on July 30 at approximately 3:09 p.m.

One operator was entrapped in their vehicle following the collision.

Deputies responded to the scene along with the Vermont State Police, Northern Emergency Medical Services and the Johnson Fire Department.

Route 15 was closed due to the severity of the crash to allow for an investigation.

Investigators determined that a 2003 Toyota Sienna failed to stop in time before making contact with the rear bumper of a 2022 Ford 1-ton truck owned by the town of Morristown.

The operator of the Toyota Sienna was pronounced dead on scene.

The victim’s name is being withheld because family members had not been located at the time of the press release.

Jordan Lehouillier of Morrisville was operating the Ford truck and was uninjured.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

The Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department is asking witnesses to the crash to contact them at 802-888-3502.
