LANCASTER — Officers responded to a residence July 29 for a report of a burglary that had occurred.
Based on evidence at the scene and witness statements, Frank Garofalo, 48, of Lancaster was taken into custody without incident at his residence.
He was charged with burglary, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, criminal threatening with intent to terrorize, criminal mischief and simple assault.
He was held on preventative detention and transported to the Coos County House of Corrections pending a hearing in the Lancaster District Court.
