Fair Haven police arrest Rutland woman on retail theft charge

FAIR HAVEN — Fair Haven Police arrested Ginger M. Springer, 48, of Rutland on June 11 following an investigation into a reported shoplifting incident.

Police were called to Liberty Street Market on Nov. 21, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. after a woman was observed taking merchandise and leaving the store without paying for it.

Through investigation, police learned Springer allegedly took two bottles of liquor with a combined value of $113.06 and left the store without paying for them.

Springer was arrested and released on a citation to appear in Rutland District Court at a later date.
