LINCOLN — Troopers made two separate arrests early this morning on charges including driving under the influence and drug possession.
At 1:55 a.m., troopers arrested Antonio A. Rivera, 29, of 110 Benedict Street, Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island.
Rivera was charged with driving under the influence of liquor, first offense; operating on a foreign license during suspension; and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Providence.
Rivera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of Peace, and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
At 2:54 a.m., troopers arrested Christopher Kelly, 52, of 3 Anaconda Drive, Lakeville, Massachusetts.
Kelly was charged with possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance less than 10 grams for fentanyl and possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance less than 10 grams for Adderall.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Broad Street in Pawtucket.
Kelly was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
