Rhode Island troopers make 3 arrests Monday on drug, trespass charges

HOPE VALLEY — Troopers arrested Mitchell N. Dampier, age 28, of West Warwick, for willful trespass on Monday, July 28 at 10:02 a.m.

The arrest resulted from troopers responding to 5 Rolling Hill Drive in the Town of Exeter for a disturbance.

Dampier was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and later released on misdemeanor charges.

At 4:25 p.m. Monday, troopers arrested Ricky Nunez, age 45, of Providence, on multiple drug charges.

Nunez faces charges of possession with the intent to deliver 1 kilo to 5 kilos of a Schedule II controlled substance (marijuana), possession with the intent to deliver 1 ounce to 1 kilo of a Schedule II controlled substance (cocaine), possession of marijuana more than 2 ounces, and possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance over 10 grams (cocaine).

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the Town of West Warwick.

Nunez was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight for morning arraignment in Third Division District Court.
