Boston police arrest 9 in sexual exploitation operation

BOSTON — Nine suspects were arrested following an operation to address sexual exploitation conducted by the Boston Police Department’s Human Trafficking Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Unit on Thursday.

Officers were joined by partners from the Massachusetts State Police Special Services Section – High Risk Victims Squad and the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force.

The operation was conducted in the Massachusetts Avenue area near the South Bay Mall.

Undercover Boston Police officers were utilized to help identify exploiters, traffickers and sex buyers in efforts to help curb exploitation within the area.

The following individuals were placed under arrest: Mohamed Djadoune, 30, Boston, charged with sex for a fee; Sah Kumar Raj, 33, Boston, charged with enticement of a minor; Jason Vinci, 39, Medford, charged with sex for a fee; Jose Luis Pinedu Colocho, 47, Dorchester, charged with sex for a fee; Pradeep Mishra, 36, Shrewsbury, charged with sex for a fee; Frederick Williams, 68, Boston, charged with sex for a fee; Juan Jose Galdamez Surio, 24, Shrewsbury, charged with sex for fee, shoplifting and trespassing; Konstantinos Mamanidis, 62, Dedham, charged with sex for a fee; and Roberta Pena, 27, Boston, charged with sex for a fee.

All suspects are expected to be arraigned in South Boston District Court.
