Bath police arrest woman on animal cruelty charges

BATH — Officers with the Village of Bath Police Department located and arrested Heather L. Baker, age 36, of Bath, on an active arrest warrant following an animal cruelty investigation on July 23 at approximately 12:51 p.m.

It is alleged that Baker failed to provide proper sustenance in the form of food, water, and shelter, to three dogs in her care.

Baker is charged with one count of Agriculture and Market Law 353-Failure to Provide Proper Sustenance, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Baker was processed and transported to the Steuben County Jail for CAP arraignment where she was released.
