NEW HAVEN — A 59-year-old Waltham man was arrested on his fourth DUI charge Saturday after Vermont State Police conducted a traffic stop for multiple motor vehicle violations.
David A. Ouellette was stopped at approximately 4:51 p.m. on U.S. Route 7 near the intersection with Lime Kiln Road after troopers observed several violations.
Investigation revealed Ouellette was required to have an ignition interlock device installed in the vehicle he was operating.
Troopers observed indicators of impairment while speaking to Ouellette.
He was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving with an ignition interlock restricted license.
Ouellette was transported to the New Haven State Police Barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court on Sept. 29 at 12:30 p.m.
Ouellette also faces charges for failing to signal, vehicle condition violations and possessing an open container while driving.
