NORFOLK — Members of the New York State Police arrested Cherilyn M. Bush, age 47, from Massena, for criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and menacing in the second degree on July 23.
At approximately 2:46 p.m. on the same day, troopers responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Hough Road in the town of Norfolk.
The investigation revealed that Bush had gone to the victim’s location, exited her vehicle, and attempted to approach the victim’s car while yelling and brandishing a knife.
During this confrontation, she made threatening statements towards the victim.
Both the victim and Bush left the scene before law enforcement arrived.
Bush was later located by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department.
She was arrested and transported to SP Massena, where she was processed.
She was arraigned in the Town of Norfolk Court.
Following her arraignment, she was released under the supervision of probation.
