GLENS FALLS — The Glens Falls Police Department responded to a residence on Walnut Street between Lawrence Street and Dix Avenue for a reported accidental discharge of a firearm at approximately 11:40 a.m. July 26.
Responding officers arrived on scene and discovered two juveniles with injuries consistent with a firearm.
Both juveniles were transported by the Glens Falls Fire Department to Glens Falls Hospital for medical treatment.
The juveniles were then transported to Albany Medical Center for further treatment.
This incident is isolated, and the residents are cooperating with the investigation.
There is no indication that there is any risk to the public.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing and no further details regarding the juveniles will be released due to their age.
The Glens Falls Police Department thanked the Glens Falls Fire Department, New York State Police and the Warren County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance at the scene.
