BOSTON — Police have located a 12-year-old boy who went missing Thursday afternoon in the Roxbury neighborhood.
King Emanuel Townsend was last seen Thursday at 4:15 p.m. in the area of Ruthven Street and Humboldt Avenue, according to the Boston Police Department.
The boy is described as a Black male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds with a medium build and short black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, black socks and black Crocs.
Police said he may have been in the East Boston area, with possible locations including near the airport, the Meridian Street Bridge and DCF Chelsea.
The department issued a missing person alert but later canceled it after Townsend was found.
