MONTGOMERY — Vermont State Police received a call at 6:11 a.m. July 24 regarding an abandoned single-vehicle rollover on Route 118 near Dutchburn Farm Road.
The 2008 white Ford Fusion was stolen from a residence near the crash site around midnight, according to police.
The crash is believed to have occurred between midnight and 3 a.m. July 24 under partly cloudy skies with dry road conditions.
The vehicle was traveling north on Route 118 when it left the roadway and entered a ditch, police said.
The vehicle then rolled onto its roof and came to rest next to the roadway.
The Ford Fusion was totaled in the crash.
The operator remains under investigation, and injuries are unknown.
