Boston police search for missing 17-year-old girl

BOSTON — Police are searching for a missing 17-year-old girl who was last reported seen in the Hyde Park neighborhood.

Herra Louis was reported missing June 20 at approximately 2 p.m. at 40 Stanbro Street in Hyde Park, according to the Boston Police Department.

Louis is described as a Black female, 4 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 176 pounds with curly shoulder-length hair.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

Police said Louis is known to frequent the area of Riley Road and was reportedly seen in the downtown area June 22 and on East Broadway in South Boston June 23.

It has also been reported that she has dyed her hair red, police said.

Louis may be using MBTA buses and subways, according to police.

She was in the area of Abbot Street between July 4 and July 6 and mentioned that she was going to see friends in the Ashmont area, police said.
